Center for Community Planning

This program connects community based organizations that are involved in planning efforts to volunteer city planners that can provide professional services at little to no cost. 

Our unique City Planning Academy provides a one of a kind, hands on educational experience for K-12 students in urban areas. Students engage in a series of coursework designed to help them critically evaluate their communities and create plans to change them.

We provide workshops and host conferences throughout the State designed to "bridge the gap" between community based organizations, municipal agencies and the communities they serve. Content is focused on community based planning strategies to strengthen collaboration in planning efforts.
